I couldn’t be more honored to meet someone so dedicated to not only his family but his country as well. Michael Dixon is a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served our country for nearly 24 years. He comes from a long line of USAF Pilots. Knowing the military life from a very young age, he chose to keep the tradition alive and enlist into the United States Air Force. The courage and dedication it takes to leave one’s family to serve our country is great and not everyone could understand what this sacrifice truly means.
Michael has given literally his whole life to serving and protecting from supporting his own father to serving our country himself.
I asked Michael during our chat “What advice would he give our youth who are considering enlisting or has just enlisted in the military?” His response was to set goals and know where they want their career to go.
Many of our youth enter into the military with no clear goals in mind and the earlier they set a career path for themselves the more likely they will reach that goal by time they retire.
What great advice from an amazing member of our military forces. I want to give my gratitude to Michael and his family for the sacrifices they have made to protect our country and keep our families safe.
