I am so honored to introduce Scott Linn and his wonderful family! Scott has served our country for the last 14 years and the last 7 years at the Joint Force Headquarters working Disaster Relief for the State of Oklahoma. Scott coordinates local and federal agencies in the joint effort to recover from major disasters.  This is especially dear to my heart because of the devastating natural disasters that the State of Oklahoma has endured over the last few years. He works these disasters helping those effected by them and ensures that they have what they need. Serving our country does not just mean fighting our enemies but also helping our fellow American’s when they are in need. Natural Disasters is not something that can be prevented but it can be helped. Natural Disaster’s happen every day and are devastating to those that are effected and Scott plays a major role in helping the victims of these catastrophic events.

When I asked Scott what advice would he give to those wanting to enlist in the Military his response was to shop around and not to settle for the first military organization that they come across. They should do their research and find out which branch of the military would best suit them first before committing to one. Many teenagers right out of high school sign up with no real goal in mind. By doing their research they can decide on what career path they want to take and do a job they will love instead of being stuck in a job they have to do.
